Learn how to request deletion of your Carte account, farm gate producer profiles, or specific app data.

Option 1: In-App Instant Deletion (Recommended)

If you have the Carte Android app installed on your device, you can initiate account deletion immediately without filling out web forms:

Open the Carte app on your Android device.
Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll down to the Account section.
Tap Delete Account and confirm your request in the prompt.

What happens next: Your account will immediately enter a 14-day grace period (30 days for Pro Producer accounts), during which your profile is hidden. After the grace period expires, our automated backend processor permanently deletes your account and associated Firestore data.

Option 2: Submit a Web Deletion Request

If you no longer have access to the mobile app or wish to request specific data deletion (such as removing uploaded produce photos or location history), submit the request form below:

Data Categories & Retention Policy

Account & Authentication Credentials Deleted upon account deletion completion via Firebase Auth & Firestore rules.

Producer Pins & Location Coordinates Permanently removed from live producer maps upon profile deletion.

Uploaded Farm / Product Photos Deleted from Firebase Cloud Storage buckets upon deletion confirmation.

Aggregated Analytics Data Raw event records are automatically pruned every 60 minutes via background Cloud Functions.
