Account and Data Deletion Request

At Carte, we value your privacy and provide a straightforward way to delete your account and any associated data. In accordance with Google Play's data safety requirements, you may request deletion both within the Carte app and through this web-based path.

How to Request Deletion

To initiate the deletion of your account and all associated data, please follow these steps:

1. Email Us: Send an email to brean@carteapp.au from the email address associated with your      Carte account.

2. Subject Line: Use the subject "Account Deletion Request - [Your Name/Business Name]".

3. Verification: Our team will reply to confirm your identity. Once verified, we will process your request within 7 business days.

Data Types That Will Be Deleted

Upon completion of your request, the following data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our servers:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and authentication identifiers.

•Producer Profile: Business name, bio, contact details (phone, website, social links), and public tags.

•Location Data: Any pins, coordinates, or farmgate locations you have mapped.

•Media/Images: All photos uploaded to your producer gallery or profile carousel.

•User Preferences: Your list of Favourites, saved searches, and app settings.

Data Retention

•Analytics: Some anonymized, aggregated search data may remain in our database to maintain the integrity of our local "Radar" trends. This data contains no personally identifiable information (PII) and cannot be traced back to your deleted account.

•Legal Compliance: We may retain specific transactional or support records if required by law or for legitimate security and fraud prevention purposes. 

Important Note

Deleting your account is permanent. Once the process is complete, you will lose access to any "Pro" features or history, and your producer profile will be removed from the map immediately.
